We are not separate from the earth — we are made of the same layered logic. The same roots, the same rings, the same slow folding of form over time. Verdant peels back the surface to reveal what was always underneath: not stone, not soil, but something organic, alive, and endlessly recursive. Nature didn't just shape us. It lives inside us, in strata we have never seen.
Handcrafted in multiwood, each layer individually cut, shaped, and placed — this piece does not simulate depth. It is depth. Five layers of material. Five decisions. Five moments where the hand followed what the eye could not yet see.
This is piece 07 of 100. A closed edition. Once the hundredth frame leaves, this work will never be made again.
